Agent Workflow Systems

Rule-based automation breaks the moment a step requires judgment. Agent-based automation supplies the judgment and removes the guarantees. For most organisations the second trade is unacceptable — not because the output is poor, but because nobody can say in advance what the system is incapable of doing.

We build agent workflows where the limits are structural. An agent is granted an explicit set of artifacts it may write, and attempts to write anything else are rejected by the engine. Each workflow carries a cost ceiling evaluated against a live usage ledger during execution. Neither constraint depends on the model behaving as instructed.

How the engagement runs

We map the process as it actually runs, including the exceptions people handle informally — that is usually where the real cost sits, and it is almost never in the documented procedure.

We then author the workflow as a declarative bundle: the specialist roles involved, the graph connecting them, the operating constraints, the tools they may call, and the governance envelope. You get a working workflow, an operator view showing what the agents did, and a runbook.

We scope one workflow at a time, deliberately. One workflow delivered end to end is worth more than five half-integrated ones, and it tells us both whether the second is worth building.
